Soundarya Lahari - Shloka 55 - Cure for diseases of the scrotum

Sanskrit Text :

निमेषोन्मेषाभ्यां प्रलयमुदयं याति जगति
तवेत्याहुः सन्तो धरणिधरराजन्यतनये
त्वदुन्मेषाज्जातं जगदिदमशेषं प्रलयतः
परेत्रातुं शङ्के परिहृतनिमेषास्तव दृशः

Transliteration :

nimEShOnmEshAbhyAm pralayam udayam yaati jagati
tavEtyAhuh santO dharaNidhararAjanyatanayE
tvadunmEShAjjAtam jagadidam asESham pralyatah
paritrAtum sankE parihrutanimEShastava drushah

Meaning :

Oh , daughter of the king of mountains, the learned sages say that  this world has its genesis and dissolution
with the opening and closing of your eyes. I believe that your eyes do not even wink for a moment,  so that this world created by the opening of your eyes,  does not ever get destroyed in the deluge.

Pooja Vidhi and Proposed Result

If one chants this verse 2500 times a day, for 45 days, offering payasam, fruits, betel leaves and areca nut as prasadam; it is said that one would get cured of diseases related to the scrotum.

சைலகுல மணியே சிவையே

கல்யாணி நின் கண்ணிமைப்பால்
உலகம் நசிக்கும் உற்பத்தியாகும்

பிரளயத்திலிருந்து ரக்ஷணை செய்ய
திறந்து நயனம் இமைக்காமலே காக்கும்

ஸாதுக்கள் ஜகஸ்ருஷ்ட்டி  ஸ்திதி லயம்
மாதா நிமேஷோன்மேஷங்கள் என்பார்

விசாலாக்ஷி வினோதஜயாக்ஷி
அசையும் இமையின் மகிமையின் மாக்ஷி
