Soundarya Lahari - Sloka 40 - For getting desirable dreams

Sanskrit Text :

तटित्वन्तं शक्त्या तिमिर परिपन्थि स्फुरणया
स्फुरन्ना नरत्नाभरण परिणद्धेन्द्र धनुषम् 
तव श्यामं मेघं कमपि मणिपूरैक शरणं
निषेवे वर्षन्तं हरमिहिर तप्तं त्रिभुवनम् 

Transliteration :

taTitvantam shaktyA timira pari panthi sphuraNayA
sphurannA naratnAbharaNa pariNadvEndra dhanuSham
tava shyAmam mEgham kamapi maNipUraika sharaNam
niShEvE varShantham haramihira taptam tribhuvanam

Meaning :

I bow before that principle which is in your wheel of Manipooraka; which as Parashakthi, shines like  the enemy of darkness; which is with the streak of lightning; which is with the shining jewels of precious stones of the colours of the rainbow; which cools down the three worlds which are burnt by Rudhra acting like the sun of the deluge; and which has the hue of a cloud and is indescribable.

Pooja Vidhi and Proposed Result

If one chants this verse 1000 times a day for 45 days, offering Pal payasam, betel leaves and areca nut as prasadam, it is said that one would get desirable dreams.

தாயே ஜகதம்பிக்கே தயை புரிவாய் அம்மா

மணிபூரக நிலயே மஹாசக்ர பீடனியே
மணிபூரக சக்ரம்தனிலே மயங்கும் கோடி மின்னல் ரூபி

அணிகல மணிபூஷணி ஆதிஜோதி சௌதாமினி
மணிரத்தினமிழைத்த ராணி மாலை ஜோதி ஒளி பூரணி

ஸா, ரிஸநித நிநிதபம கதமாகரி மகாரிஸநி
ரீ ரீ தாநி ஸரிகமபரி  கமபதாப மபத பதநி

வருஷிக்கும் ஜலதாரயான மேகரூப பசுபதியை
கருனாவருஷமாரி கனகரூப ஜெயதாரி
வரப்ரசாதம் தருபகாரி வணங்க விசாலாக்ஷி வாரீர்
