Soundarya Lahari - Sloka 33 - For Financial Wealth

Sanskrit Text :

स्मरं योनिं लक्ष्मीं त्रितयमिद मादौ तवमनोः 

निधायैके नित्ये निरवधि महाभोगरसिकाः 

भजन्ति त्वां  चिन्तामणिगुण निबद्धाक्षवलयाः 

शिवाग्नौ जुह्वन्तः सुरभिघृत धाराहुति शतैः 

Transliteration :

smaram yOnim lakshmIm tritayamida madau tava manOh
nidhAyaikE nityE niravadhi mahAbhOgarasikAh
bhajanti tvAm cintAmaNiguNa nibaddhAkshavalayAh
shivAgnau juhvantah surabhi ghruta dhArAhuti shataih

Meaning :

O Mother, the one with eternal greatness. A few great pious souls, who are always experiencing unending bliss, wearing a necklace of wish-granting gems, and chant the Panchadashasi mantra (as described in the previous Slokas) along with the addition of the (Kamadeva's) seed letters क्लीं,  (Bhuvaneswari's) ह्रीं, and (Lakshmi's) श्रीं,  in that order at the beginning of the mantra. Due to this chanting of theirs, and with the offerings given through consecration by the fires of the soul which is also called as Shivaagni they please you with their prayers.

Pooja Vidhi and Proposed Result

If one chants this verse 1000 times each day for 45 days, offering chitrannam and honey, then it would lead to improvement in the financial position.

Tamil Interpretation

நித்ய சொரூபியே சிவையே ஞான ஹ்ருதயத் 

தில் அமர்ந்திடும் தவமே

நித்ய ஞானாநூபாவ ரஸிகர் யோகீஸ்வரர் 

ஸம்வித் கமலத்தில் திருகுணத்தை ஸ்தாபித்து 

பைந்தவத்திலிருக்கும்  பரமகாமேஸ்வரியே  

இரக்கிவைத்துமது மந்திரத்துக்கு முன்னால்

வந்திடும் காமராஜ புவனேஸ்வரி ஸ்ரீ பீஜம் 

இந்த மந்திரம் மூன்றே இசைத் தேத்யானமும் செய்ய

சிந்தாமணியாலே செய்ஹ்ட ஜபமாலையை 

ஸந்ததம் தரித்தவர் திருகோண அக்கினியில் 

சிந்தையால் காமதேனு கிருத்தால் ஆகுகிசெய்து

விந்தையாய் சேவிக்கின்றார் விசாலாக்ஷி போற்றுகின்றார்
