Soundarya Lahari - Sloka 19 - For mesmerizing power

Sanskrit Text :

मुखं बिन्दुं कृत्वा कुचायुगं अधस्तस्यु तदध:
हरार्धं ध्यायेध्य: हरमहिषि ते मन्मथकलां
स साध्य: सङ्क्षोभं नयति वनिता इत्यतिलघु
त्रिलोकीमप्याशु भ्रमयति रवीन्दु स्तनयुगां

Transliteration :

mukham bindum krutvA kucAyugamadastasyu tadadhah
harArdham dhyAyEdhyah haramahiShi tE manmathakalAm
sa sAdhyah sankshObham nayati vanitA ityathilaghu
trilOkImapyashu bhramayati ravIndu stanayugAm

Meaning :

[O Consort of Siva,] the one who meditates on your face as an embodiment of the centre of the sri chakra, your bosom just below that, and you as a part of Lord Siva (as yoni), and then contemplates on that Siva-Shakti, he will immediately be able to charm ladies effortlessly. Indeed, he would be able to charm the ladies of all the three worlds for which the sun and the moon are like two breasts. 


Pooja Vidhi and Proposed Result

If one chants this verse 1000 times a day for 25 days, offering honey, milk and payasam as prasadam, it is said thay one would be able of have a hypnotic effect even on kings, beasts, animals and women.

அம்பிகே சிவஹர மகிஷி ஸ்ரீ
அகில லோசனி அருள் கிருபாசாலினி

செம்மையாகவே துதியழகி
த்யானம் செய்யும் சாதகனுக்கருள்

காமகளாரூபியான அருணாதேவி முகம்பிந்து
ஸ்தானப்ரதான அங்கங்களில் காமராஜபீஜத்தை
நேமமுடன் த்யானிக்கும் ஸாதகன் தக்ஷணத்தில்
காமேகி ஸ்திரீகளுக்கு காமமோகம் உண்டுபண்ணும்
சோமன் சூரியன் ஸ்தனங்களாயுள்ள   மூவுலகுயெனும்
ஸ்திரீயும் மோகிக்க நேமி அதிஸோமி
சந்திரகலாமணி அமைத்த விசாலாக்ஷி
போற்றியே துதித்திடும்
